The Standard

Four vows, kept quietly.

The Hallmarks

A diamond earns our name only when it satisfies four convictions. These are not our marketing — they are why we turn a stone away.

I

The Four Cs, Uncompromised

Every stone is chosen for exceptional colour and clarity, and cut for maximum light return — never for carat weight alone.

II

Independently Certified

Each diamond arrives with certification and a VARDA dossier documenting its precise measurements and origin.

Set Entirely by Hand

No casting shortcuts. Our master setters mount each stone under the loupe, prong by prong, in platinum or gold.

IV

Sourced with Conscience

Conflict-free and fully traceable, held to our own uncompromising provenance standard from mine to hand.

An Immersive Chapter

The Journey of a Diamond

From a billion years in the earth to the light of a single room — follow the passage of a VARDA diamond, told as a film in six chapters.

The Cut

A year in the hand, a century on the finger.

A VARDA diamond can spend a year in the atelier before it is worn — and is made to be worn for generations after.

01

The Selection

A stone is chosen for its behaviour in light, examined loose under the loupe before a single design is drawn.

02

The Setting

Platinum or gold is worked by hand to cradle the diamond, each prong raised and burnished under magnification.

03

The Finish

Days of polishing follow, until the piece disappears and only the light it carries remains.
